Contest Rules
1 (a) To enter, each contestant must submit two (2) pictures of themselves to Contest {at} JockBoyLocker {dot} com or at the JockBoy of the Year Submission page between 12:00am April 1st and 11:59pm April 30th , 2008 no submissions will be allowed after this date. Submissions must include the following which will only be used by JockBoyLocker.com: Name, Address, a valid email and two (2) photos. The first photo must be of the entrant playing sports or in sports gear. These photos will then be posted on the website for visitors to vote on. The second photo must be of the contestant holding up a sign with the words “Jock Boy of the Year” and they must be showing their face to verify that the first picture is of you. The second photo will only be used by JockBoyLocker.com for verification purposes and will NOT be posted on the website.
(b) A panel of judges will review all submissions before posting on the website for voting. The winners will be chosen by the visitors to the website and not by the panel of judges. The voting will run from May 1, 2008 through May 31, 2008. Winners will be announced June 1, 2008.
(c) Contest is open to those who are of the age of majority in the country of which they reside. Employees or persons living with employees (and their immediate family) of JockBoyLocker.com (collectively, the "Contest Sponsors") and each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies for this contest are not eligible.
(d) Only one (1) entry per person/email address/household is permitted. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this contest will be the contest server machine(s).
(e) In order to win, entrants must comply with all contest rules. The contestant in their first photo must be wearing sports gear, underwear or swimwear in a decent and appropriate manner. The contestant in their second photo must be showing their face and holding a sign with the words Jock Boy of the year written on it. Entrants will be judged by the visitors of the site on what the visitors believe to be the Jock Boy of the Year
2 No purchase, expenditure or investment is necessary to enter this contest.
3 Participants will be eligible to win the Grand Prize of $1000 worth of underwear and/or swimwear and Jock Boy Bucks, second prize of $500 worth of underwear and/or swimwear and Jock Boy Bucks, third prize of $250 worth of underwear and/or swimwear and Jock Boy Bucks.
4 All prizes must be accepted as awarded. Contest Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of at least equal value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever reason, of the advertised prize.
5 Contestants will be required to return a signed release and acknowledgment form before being declared a winner.
6 By entering this contest, each contestant consents to the use of his/her entry, name, address and/or photograph in any publicity carried out by Contest Sponsors and/or its advertising agencies, without further compensation. Winners consent to their photograph being taken by Contest Sponsors for such use, without further compensation. All entries become the property of JockBoyLocker.com.
7 The contest is subject to all applicable state, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.
8 No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrants. To receive a copy of the contest rules or a list of the winners, send a postage paid, self-addressed envelope on or before Monday, June 2nd , 2008 to Jock Boy of the Year, JockBoyLocker.com 1450 Hartford Ave SW, Atlanta, GA 30310.
9 All entries which are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by Contest Sponsors. Contest Sponsors take no responsibility for lost, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors.
10 All entries become property of the Contest Sponsors who assume no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for failure of the Web site during the promotional period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or traffic congestion on the internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion. Any attempt to deliberately damage any Web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws, and should such an attempt be made, Contest Sponsors reserve the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
11 Contest Sponsors are collecting personal data about entrants for the sole purpose of administering this Contest. Contestant's data shall not be used for any other reason or provided to any third party.
12 This contest will be run in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment by Contest Sponsors. Contestants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the rules if they participate in the contest.
13 The terms of this contest, as set out in these rules, are not subject to amendment or counter-offer, except as set out herein.
